New study program of the second cycle studies "Cultural Heritage and Cultural Tourism Management" has been licensed
The Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka is a higher education institution that continuously monitors the needs of the labor market. In the Republic of Srpska, in the field of cultural heritage and cultural tourism management, there are almost no trained experts.
Existing human resources in culture and tourism do not know the contemporary trends and principles of cultural tourism development and do not have the experience in mutual cooperation. Thus, cultural workers lack knowledge in the fields of finance, entrepreneurship, management and marketing, while tourism workers lack knowledge about the values of cultural heritage and the principles of its sustainable development.
In response to recognized labor market needs, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka has licensed a new study program of the second cycle studies titled "Cultural Heritage and Cultural Tourism Management".
The study program "Cultural Heritage and Cultural Tourism Management" was developed within the international ERASMUS+ project "Strengthening Capacities for Tourism Changes in WB - Building Competences for Quality Management of Heritage and Cultural Tourism/CULTURWB.
The enrollment of the first generation of students has been planned in the academic year 2019/2020.
Due to a multidisciplinary approach, this program is intended for students who have completed the first cycle studies in the field of economics, but also in other fields who are interested in new knowledge about concepts, methods and tools applicable in the field of cultural tourism. Since this is the study program co-financed by the EU, the first generation of students will have significant benefits.

Dear,
Rulebook on Student Survey on the Quality of the Teaching Process (hereinafter: Rulebook), which was adopted by the Senate of the University of Banja Luka on 11 February 2015, regulates the student survey as a specific type of student evaluation of the quality of the teaching process.
By conducting the student survey on the quality of the teaching process we acquire knowledge about students' opinion regarding the quality of studies, which makes the basis for taking measures in order to improve it. The conduct of the student survey of the quality of studies is based on the following principles: voluntariness, anonymity, neutrality and protection of the dignity of the person whose work is the subject of evaluation. The anonymity of students is ensured in the survey process.
The survey will be conducted electronically - using eStudent web service. Students can fill out the survey forms during the given period for the survey. The survey questionnaire contains questions (claims), divided according to the areas of student survey defined in Article 2 of the Rulebook, with the offered ratings and answers. Students are also given the opportunity to present their comments, observations and suggestions. Article 8 of the Rulebook stipulates that "the survey includes those students who, until the moment of conducting the survey, attended at least 70% of the held lectures and exercises in the current semester."
The procedure of student survey will be conducted in the period from 27 May to 9 June 2019, and the survey refers to lectures / exercises from subjects that are conducted in the summer semester of the academic year 2018/2019 in the first cycle of studies.
Respectfully Yours,
