Dear,
Rulebook on Student Survey on the Quality of the Teaching Process (hereinafter: Rulebook), which was adopted by the Senate of the University of Banja Luka on 11 February 2015, regulates the student survey as a specific type of student evaluation of the quality of the teaching process.
By conducting the student survey on the quality of the teaching process we acquire knowledge about students' opinion regarding the quality of studies, which makes the basis for taking measures in order to improve it. The conduct of the student survey of the quality of studies is based on the following principles: voluntariness, anonymity, neutrality and protection of the dignity of the person whose work is the subject of evaluation. The anonymity of students is ensured in the survey process.
The survey will be conducted electronically - using eStudent web service. Students can fill out the survey forms during the given period for the survey. The survey questionnaire contains questions (claims), divided according to the areas of student survey defined in Article 2 of the Rulebook, with the offered ratings and answers. Students are also given the opportunity to present their comments, observations and suggestions. Article 8 of the Rulebook stipulates that "the survey includes those students who, until the moment of conducting the survey, attended at least 70% of the held lectures and exercises in the current semester."
The procedure of student survey will be conducted in the period from 27 May to 9 June 2019, and the survey refers to lectures / exercises from subjects that are conducted in the summer semester of the academic year 2018/2019 in the first cycle of studies.
Respectfully Yours,

Glossa Center provides easier access to scholarships to students of the Faculty of Economics
Dean of the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka Prof. Stanko Stanić, PhD and director of Glossa Center for the German language Adriana Svraka signed on 17 April 2019 Memorandum of Cooperation between these two institutions.
By signing the Memorandum, formal prerequisites were created for the establishment and functioning of a regular monthly free service that will be available to students of this Faculty, through which students will have the assistance of a German language professor when applying to programs of practices and scholarships in the German-speaking area.
Namely, students of the Faculty of Economics often participate in various programs in Germany, Austria and Switzerland through which they improve German language, and acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of economics. Programs such as those offered by DAAD - German Academic Exchange Service, OAD - Austrian Academic Service, Dr Zoran Djindjic Foundation, Diplomatic Academy in Vienna and many other institutions, organizations and schools are of great importance to students of the Faculty of Economics for their future work and training, and a free service that will be available to them through the signing of this Memorandum will further facilitate the application process for the mentioned programs.
The Memorandum also envisages that Glossa Center for the German language will donate a "Reading Corner" to the Faculty in which students will be able to use modern German dictionaries, read magazines in German, or rest at breaks between lectures and exercises.
As pointed out during the signing of the Memorandum, the mentioned activities are only the beginning of the planned cooperation between the Faculty and Glossa with the aim of improving the quality of work and achieving greater employability of students.

Conference on the geo-economic policy of energy supply of the Balkan countries
Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka, Association of Economists of Belgrade and Regional Chamber of Commerce in Banja Luka, are organizing a scientific-professional conference on the topic "Geo-economic policy of energy supply of the Balkan countries in modern conditions of globalization and integration, with special emphasis on Serbia and the Republic of Srpska" at the Faculty of Economics on Friday, 19 April 2019, starting at 11.00 am.
Enabling production and consumption of electrical energy is essential for economic, technological and geopolitical position and development. This is a big challenge for geo-economic policy of each country, especially small and energy-dependent countries, which are exposed to constant pressure from the major powers and burdened with conflicts and misunderstandings, as is the case with the Western Balkans countries.
Serbia and the Republic of Srpska are in a special and delicate situation when it comes to the energy supply. They are exposed to constant turbulences of globalization and regionalization taking place between the European Union, which has scarce energy resources, and the Eurasian Union, which is rich in energy resources.
It was the actuality and significance of the mentioned issues that encouraged the organizers to gather relevant lecturers from Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, and through their presentations and discussions during the mentioned event offered answers to some of the burning issues related to the existing and desirable geo-economic policy of production and supply of energy resources, energy security, energy transformation and changes in the consumption structure, necessity of developing a strategic partnership between the countries of the Western Balkans in the field of energy supply and other similar topics.
