Professors are prominent experts in the fields they teach and successful businesspeople, which makes a unique combination of science and practice. The exercises will be held by senior assistants and assistants: assistant professors, doctoral students and postgraduates who are selected among the best students.
Since the academic year 2010/2011, 793 students have been enrolled in the second cycle of studies (4 + 1), where, in addition to professors from our Faculty, classes are held by eminent experts from the faculties of economics in Belgrade, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Podgorica, Sarajevo, Mostar, Istočno Sarajevo, Bijeljina, Brčko, Niš and Kragujevac. Coverage of teaching activities in the first cycle of studies with own teaching staff is almost 100%. In the academic year 2024/2025, classes in the first cycle of studies have been held by 60 teachers and associates, i.e. 47 teachers (19 full professors, 17 associate professors, 11 assistant professors), 1 foreign language teacher and 12 associates (7 senior assistants and 5 assistants). Exactly 49 teachers and associates are full-time employed, while 11 teachers and associates are part-time employed.
According to the Amendments to the Curriculum, from the academic year 2017/2018 mandatory professional practice was introduced for students in the fourth year of the first cycle of studies, and from the academic year 2019/2020 for students in the third year of the first cycle of studies. In order to prepare better for gaining practical experience, students perform professional practice once a week, during the academic year, in companies with which the Faculty of Economics has signed a cooperation agreement. Full compliance with the schedule of lectures and exam deadlines for the entire academic year, which are announced on our website www.ef.unibl.org and the notice board of the Faculty at the beginning of the year, which excludes the possibility of cancelling exams, but also changing the exam deadline without informing students.
Large spatial capacity of 4200 m2 which allows comfortable and continuous performance of teaching and extracurricular activities.
The Faculty has no architectural barriers, and with a panoramic elevator, students with disabilities can access amphitheaters and cabinets.
High technical equipment of the Faculty (Faculty of Economics has 140 desktops, 31 laptops, 23 tablets, two video conferencing devices, 44 video surveillance cameras, three smart boards, seven Wi-Fi routers and 12 LCD projectors). International cooperation with faculties and universities from nine countries, as well as the possibility of free education abroad for a semester or two through an international exchange program.
