Call for the event "Traveling Europe"
The event "Traveling Europe" will be held on 27 June 2019 at 6:00 pm in the University town in Banja Luka.
For all those who are interested in traveling across Europe, a prize competition is planned. Namely, it is necessary to make a travel plan, and the best three plans will be awarded with a 1,000-euro cash prize.
"Traveling Europe" is an event organized by the EU Info Center in BiH during the summer.
The event is intended for young people for whom traveling is a lifestyle and who want to reach desired destinations by hitchhiking, train, bicycle, car or boat and in this way discover and meet new cultures and destinations in Europe and the world. During the discussion with young travelers you can get useful information about various destinations. It will be an opportunity to hear in one place information about the cheapest ways of traveling across Europe, about the most visited destinations, but also about what to pay attention to on the trip.

Preparatory classes for entrance exam for enrollment in academic year 2019/20
Preparatory classes for taking the entrance exam for enrollment at the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka in academic year 2019/20 will be held on Monday, 24 June 2019, from 10 am to 3 pm in the amphitheater. Preparatory classes will be held according to the following schedule:

Competition for enrollment of students in the first year of the first, second and third cycle studies in the academic year 2019/2020
The competition for enrollment of students in the first year of the first, second and third cycle studies in the academic year 2019/2020 at public higher education institutions was announced. You can download the text of the competition here.
FIRST CYCLE STUDIES
Registration of candidates starts on 17 June 2019 and ends on 28 June 2019 (receipt of documents is done every working day).
The entrance exam will take place on 1 July 2019 starting at 9.00 am.
The announcement of the results of the competition is on 3 July 2019 by 2.00 pm.
Enrollment of received candidates starts on 8 July 2019 and ends on 12 July 2019.
The application form for the enrollment in the first cycle studies at the Faculty of Economics can be downloaded here.
Instructions for payment for technical services and taking the entrance exam can be obtained at the Student Services of the Faculty or here.
Candidates should submit to the Student Services the following documentation:
- Original diploma on completed four-year education;
- Original certificates of completion from the first to the fourth grade of secondary school;
- Birth certificate;
- Certificate of citizenship not older than six months;
- Proof of payment of the fee for taking the entrance exam.
SECOND AND THIRD CYCLE STUDIES
The competition for enrollment of students in the second and third cycle studies will be opened from 17 June to 16 October 2019, during which period the candidates will able to submit their applications.
Information on the ranking of the registered applicants, the final ranking list and the deadlines for enrollment will be available no later than 21 October 2019, on the website of the Faculty of Economics.
Second cycle - required documentation:
Candidates are required to submit the following documentation to the office 409 at the Faculty of Economics:
- Original or certified copy of the diploma on the completion of the first cycle studies, i.e. the basic study;
- Filled application form for the second cycle studies;
- Birth certificate;
- Certificate of citizenship not older than six months;
- Certificate of passed exams and certified Curriculum of the first cycle studies (submitted by candidates who have studied at another faculty);
- Proof of payment of fees for technical services and direct material costs. Payment instructions can be obtained in Office 409 or here.
Third cycle - required documentation:
Candidates are required to submit the following documentation to the office 409:
- Certified copy of the diploma on the completion of the first and second cycle studies (with the title of Master of Economics), or a certified copy of the diplomas of basic and magister's studies for students who studied according to the old non-Bologna program, that is, the equivalence of the title obtained by previously valid regulations, equal to the rank acquired by the end of the second cycle studies;
- Curriculum and certificate of passed exams in the basic and magister's studies, or certified copies of the diploma supplement of the first and second cycle (submitted by candidates who have completed basic studies or studies of the first cycle studies at other public and private faculties);
- Completed application form that can be downloaded here;
- Birth certificate;
- Certificate of citizenship;
- Motivational letter from the candidate on studying on the doctoral study containing (narrow scientific fields of interest, proposal of elective subjects and explanation of the scientific and theoretical basis of the field of interest for the study of the third cycle studies). The candidate chooses a particular module of doctoral studies, and the doctoral research proposal must correspond to the module itself for which the candidate has opted;
- Biography and bibliographic data of the candidate (proof of published two scientific papers in the field of research subject of the selected module of the third cycle studies);
- Proof of payment of the application fee for the competition for the enrollment in the third cycle studies.

SDG Business Week - lectures of global speakers live and/or online
Webinars of global leaders in the field of sustainable development on Monday and Tuesday, 10 and 11 June.
UNDP in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of the Government of Sweden is organizing the SDG Business Week 2019. SDG Business Week aims to promote the goals of sustainable development and raise awareness of the extremely important role of the private and public sector as well as of all individuals in the society in their realization. The first business SDG conference, designed as a platform for promoting the goals of sustainable development and raising awareness about the extremely important role of companies in their realization, was organized in June 2018.
This year, instead of a one-day event, SDG Business Week will be organized with a greater number of individual activities that will focus on promoting SDG to the private sector and future business leaders, as well as to key decision-makers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In order to reach as many people as possible who find useful the topic of the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals, which concern each individual on Earth, UNDPBiH organizes free webinars during the SDG Business Week. Call for webinars - live streaming & chat in real time is sent to all interested people in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
Global leaders and authoritative voices in the area of sustainable development and reflection will share their experiences on Monday and Tuesday, 10 and 11 June 2019, beginning at 12.00 pm, and will talk about sustainable development as a business opportunity, profit with a decrease in the consumption of resources, and about the labor force of the future.
Presenters/lecturers will transfer their experiences and knowledge to everyone who follows the webinar online or who are present in the "Centrotrans" amphitheater at the Faculty of Economics, University of Sarajevo.

Possibility of employment in Nova Banka
We would like to inform the graduates of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Banja Luka that Nova Banka AD Banja Luka, as a long-time partner of the Faculty, offered the possibility of employment for several of our graduates.

Competition on 12 June, entrance exams on 1 July
At the joint collegium of the rectors of the University of Banja Luka and the University of East Sarajevo held on 30 May 2019, it was decided that a competition for the enrollment of students in the first year of the first, second and third cycle studies in the academic year 2019/2020 in public higher education institutions will be published on 12 June 2019 in the daily newspapers "Glas Srpske" and "Euroblic", as well as on the web pages of public universities in the Republic of Srpska.
At the session of the collegium, held at the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka, it was decided that the receipt of documents will be from 17 to 28 June 2019, while the entrance exams will be taken on 1 July at 9.00 am.
Candidates who successfully pass the entrance exam and obtain the right to enroll in the first year of study can be enrolled from 8 to 12 July 2019.
The second enrollment period will be organized by organizational units that do not enter the planned number of students in the first period.
As decided by the joint collegium, it is planned that the competition for the second enrollment period will be announced on 21 August, while the receipt of documents will be from 26 August to 6 September 2019. Entrance exams are scheduled for 9 September 2019, and the enrollment of admitted students is from 16 September to 20 September.
Second and third cycle studies
The competition for the enrollment of students in the second and third cycle studies will be open from 12 June to 16 October 2019. The ranking of candidates will be announced on 21 October 2019.
The collegium also discussed other current issues in the field of higher education.
