Summer School: "Migration and Mobility in the Balkans" - Ancona, Italy

UniAdrion Network and Marche Polytechnic University organize the Summer School on the topic "Migration and Mobility in the Balkans", which will be held in Ancona, Italy, from 9-13 September 2019. Fee for participation, accommodation and food costs is borne by the Marche Polytechnic University, while travel costs are borne by the participants themselves. The program is intended for students of the second and third cycle studies, researchers and officials who work in the field of migrations.

Workshop "Writing to Publish" for students of the second and third cycle studies

Within the Erasmus+ exchange between the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka and the Institute for English Studies of the University of Opole (Poland), Professor Katarzyna Molek-Kozakowska will hold a guest lecture at the Faculty of Philology. Professor Molek-Kozakovska will hold a workshop titled Writing to Publish for students of the second and third cycle studies of the University of Banja Luka, as well as for other interested parties. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, 18 June 2019 in Classroom 4, at the Faculty of Philology, starting at 10.00 am.

Scholarships for Postdoctoral Studies at the University of Kragujevac

The University of Kragujevac grants one scholarship in the amount of 1000 Euros per month, for postdoctoral improvement that will be realized in the period from 1-3 months, during the school year 2019/2020.

Scholarships are awarded to a candidate (not older than 40 years) who is employed at a foreign university and who has received his/her PhD degree in the fields that are being lectured at the University of Kragujevac, as follows: A. natural-mathematical sciences, B. medical sciences, В. technical and technological sciences, G. socio-humanistic sciences and D. art.

The deadline for submitting the application is 20 June 2019.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - DOCTORAL CANDIDATES: 2 DAAD GSSP Scholarships

DAAD scholarships for international candidates are available for four years. We welcome applications from graduates aiming to write their doctoral thesis at the Bamberg Graduate School of Social Sciences. A scholarship will enable you to develop an excellent research proposal and submit it to appropriate funding bodies. The school supports scholarship holders through personal mentoring, workshops and support services. The scholarships are available from April 1st, 2020. The deadline for the submission of your application is Saturday, 31 August 2019.

Competition for summer schools of the University of Lobachevsky from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

Nizhny Novgorod State University N.I. Lobachevsky, Russia, offers students of the University of Banja Luka the opportunity to participate in four summer schools that will be held in July-August 2019 in Nizhny Novgorod. Two scholarships for each summer school are available and the scholarship includes participation fee. The costs of transportation, accommodation and food are borne by the students themselves.

Deutsche Gesellschaft e.V. - Summer school in Berlin

Deutsche Gesellschaft e.V. organizes a summer school on the topic "Gemeinsames Erbe. Die gegenwärtige Rezeption des deutschen Kulturerbes im östlichen Europa - Common Heritage. Current perception of German cultural heritage in Eastern Europe". Applications are open to students in all fields.

The summer school will be held from 25 to 31 August 2019 in Berlin, and the application form must be submitted to the following email address (evelyna.schmidt@deutsche-gesellschaft-ev.de) by 30 June 2019. Knowledge of German is required at a minimum B2 level. Travel and accommodation costs will be borne by the organizers.

Scholarships of the Queen Jadwiga Fund, Poland

Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland, announced a competition for scholarships of the Queen Jadwiga Fund. The goal of the Fund is to help scientists and students of the third cycle. The one-month stay of the scholarship recipient can be realized between October 2019 and June 2020.

The scholarship value is 350 Euros. Besides that, recipients are provided accommodation in the student dormitory, as well as basic health care.

Documents are sent to the following address Competency Development Office of the Jagiellonian University (ul. Gołębia 24, pok. 16, 31-007 Kraków, Poland) and the deadline for applications is 15 June 2019.

DBU International Fellowship Programme - Scholarships for advanced qualification in fields of environmental protection and nature conservation

The German Federal Environmental Foundation (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt – DBU) https://www.dbu.de/english awards 60 fellowships per year for advanced qualification in all fields of environmental protection and nature conservation in Germany https://www.dbu.de/2600.html. Highly qualified university graduates (master, diploma) of all disciplines from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe are welcome to apply. The DBU scholarships cover a 6-12 month stay at Germany host institutions: universities, research institutes, companies, NGOs, associations etc. The monthly grant is 1250 Euro.
