West University of Timisoara Summer School (August 1st - August 12th, 2022)

West University of Timisoara is organizing the 4th Edition of West University of Timisoara Summer School (August 1st - August 12th, 2022), a multi- and inter-disciplinary event aiming to offer Bachelor and Master students the opportunity to participate in a two-weeks study/training programme, taking place in an onsite format.

Call for application for Summer School RACE (Raw and Circular Economy Expedition) 2022

Raw and Circular Economy Expedition (RACE) 2022 Summer School for Master and PhD students will take place from 20th August to 3rd September and is now open for applications. RACE 2022 is a two week challenge-based learning programme across the raw materials value chain in Europe. The main theme this year will be what supply security means for Europe. During the programme, students gain exposure to industry, and take on real industrial challenges, listen to expert speakers and gain insight on entrepreneurship and innovation.

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic master’s students from EIT RawMaterials partner universities who are studying disciplines including Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Materials Science, Materials Recycling, Industrial Ecology, Environmental Management and Policy, Mining, Metallurgy, Business, Economics or similar to take on the challenge. We’re also looking for PhD students, Post-Docs or young professionals in the raw materials field who are willing to join the RACE as facilitators.

The 16th International Summer School “NATIONAL ENERGY AND CLIMATE PLANS 2021-2030” - Bosnia and Herzegovina

The 16th International Summer School “NATIONAL ENERGY AND CLIMATE PLANS 2021-2030” is organized by Regional Education and Information Centre for sustainable development in South-East Europe - REIC in collaboration with the Central European Initiative (CEI), German Development Cooperation – GIZ Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe (Antenna in Sarajevo).

The in-class module of the School is planned to be held in the Ethno village Čardaci (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The Summer School will be organized in the period of August 19-28, 2021.

No participation fees.

Target group:

Young policy-makers and civil servants from governmental institutions, embassies and international organizations,
Officers working in authorities administration (national/ regional/ local) in SEE Europe,
Final year Bachler, Master and PhD students in the relevant field,
Representatives of NGOs,
Mid-career professionals from energy companies.

Call for 16th International Summer School “NATIONAL ENERGY AND CLIMATE PLANS 2021-2030

The 16th International Summer School “NATIONAL ENERGY AND CLIMATE PLANS 2021-2030” is organized by Regional Education and Information Centre for sustainable development in South East Europe - REIC in collaboration with the Central European Initiative (CEI), German Development Cooperation – GIZ Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe (Antenna in Sarajevo).

So where we stood last year, we will continue now.

Univie: Summer School for International and European Studies 2021

Univie: summer school – European and International Studies 2021 of the Sommerhochschule of the University of Vienna will take place from July 17 to August 14, 2021.
