Library

The Library of the Faculty of Economics, like libraries at other higher education institutions, is a specialized closed-type library intended for students, teaching staff and associates. In addition to library units, it also holds project reports, doctoral, master's and graduate theses, and subscriptions to scientific journals in the fields covered by the second- and third-cycle study programmes.

Membership and Borrowing

To become a library member, undergraduate or postgraduate students must present their student index. Publications are borrowed for fifteen days; once that period expires, the loan can be extended and the publication kept for another fifteen days. Students borrow publications in person and, with their signature on the library card, take responsibility for the proper use and timely return of the borrowed item.

Reading Room

Publications that cannot be taken out of the library - dictionaries, encyclopaedias, journals, newspapers and project reports - can be used in the reading room. It is open to users on weekdays from 08:00 to 21:00 and offers 35 desks; a second reading room, with a capacity of 39 seats, was later added on the 4th floor.
