My name is Tijana Trivunović, and I am a third-year student at the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka. I completed my Erasmus+ exchange at Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic. I decided to participate in the exchange because I wanted to gain new experiences, become acquainted with a different approach to studying and spend time living in another country.
Before leaving, I expected to learn something new, meet people from different countries and become more independent. The exchange fully met my expectations. What I particularly appreciated at the university was the interactive approach to teaching, the accessibility of the professors and the emphasis placed on practical work.
The most enjoyable part of the exchange was spending time with students from around the world and forming friendships during my stay. I also participated in various student and cultural events and had the opportunity to visit five different countries, which further enriched my experience.
Erasmus helped me become more independent, self-confident and open to new people and experiences. I would advise future students to apply and make the most of this opportunity, as it is an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.
Overall, my Erasmus+ exchange was one of the most rewarding experiences of my studies, and I would gladly do it all over again without hesitation.
