Key activities and research of our project team were presented, as well as efforts to address and dispel some of the persistent myths and narratives promoted by the tobacco industry.
Special emphasis was placed on the importance of enacting and implementing comprehensive tobacco control laws, with the aim of strengthening public health protection, as well as on the role of the excise tax policy in curbing smoking prevalence and intensity.
