Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ljubiša Mićić, Head of the Business Informatics study program, participated in the Thomas More International Days 2025 at Thomas More University in Belgium from 17 to 21 March 2025 through the Erasmus+ academic staff exchange program. At the invitation of Tinne Van Echelpoel, International Coordinator at the partner institution Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, Mićić delivered a guest lecture titled “Planning and Estimation of Software in Agile Teams,” attended by students of this university as well as professors from other universities participating in the event.
In addition to the lecture, Ljubiša Mićić used the visit for active networking and exchange with colleagues, participating in the plenary session, thematic discussions, and working meetings. Particularly notable were bilateral talks with colleagues from partner universities, focusing on future projects, teaching collaboration, and the exchange of students and staff within the Erasmus+ program.
Importantly, as a result of these guest lectures and international engagements at Thomas More University, that university offers Erasmus+ scholarships not only to students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Banja Luka, but—more recently—also to students of the Business Informatics study program at the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka. Several students from this program have already benefited from the exchange, either spending a semester at Thomas More or participating in summer schools.
This participation further strengthened the international ties of the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, and opened new opportunities for joint projects and the development of curricula in Business Informatics and Project Management.
