As part of the CEEPUS academic exchange programme, Professor Branka Zolak Poljašević, PhD, completed a teaching mobility at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management Opatija, University of Rijeka, from 15 to 19 June 2025.
The mobility was carried out as part of the International Summer School “Boosting Students' Employability through the Enhancement of Soft Skills”, which brought together students from several European countries. During the programme, Professor Zolak Poljašević delivered interactive workshops focused on developing skills essential for students' employability. Students from diverse national and academic backgrounds had the opportunity to exchange experiences, collaborate in an international learning environment, and strengthen their intercultural communication competencies.
In addition to the teaching activities, the mobility included meetings with academic staff from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, where opportunities for future cooperation were discussed, particularly in the areas of enhancing teaching practices, developing competency-based learning, and implementing joint international initiatives.
The mobility further strengthened the partnership between the University of Banja Luka and the University of Rijeka, facilitated the exchange of good practices in higher education, and contributed to the continued internationalization of teaching and research activities.
