“Participation in the REDETE26 Conference and Summer School in Ancona was a highly valuable academic and international experience for me. Throughout the programme, I had the opportunity to broaden my knowledge through lectures, workshops and discussions, while also exchanging experiences with students and professors from different countries.
A particularly important part of my stay was participation in the REDETE Conference, where I had the opportunity to present my research paper, ‘The Impact of Donald Trump’s Policies on the Share Price Movements of Multinational Companies’. Presenting the paper enabled me to receive useful feedback and further develop my research and presentation skills.
Beyond the academic component, my stay in Ancona gave me the opportunity to establish new contacts, experience a different academic environment and engage in international cooperation. Overall, I consider this experience highly valuable for my further academic and professional development.”

“One of the particular strengths of the programme was its ability to connect students, early-career researchers and academic staff from across the Adriatic-Ionian region and from a range of academic disciplines. The workshops organised as part of the REDETE26 Summer School were not limited to economics, but also involved experts and experienced researchers from architecture, information sciences and technical disciplines, enabling a multidisciplinary perspective on the contemporary challenges facing the region.
The lectures, workshops and direct interaction with students and professors within the UNIADRION project facilitated the exchange of ideas, the establishment of new academic contacts and the creation of opportunities for future research collaboration.
The highlight of the seven-day mobility programme was my active participation in the REDETE26 Conference, where I presented a paper that will soon be published in The South East European Journal of Economics and Business, published by the School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo. Overall, my stay in Ancona was of great importance for my further academic, research and professional development.”

“Participating in the REDETE26 Summer School in Ancona was an extremely valuable experience. The lectures delivered by international experts were highly engaging and opened up new perspectives. In addition to the formal programme, the Summer School provided an excellent platform for networking and exchanging views with colleagues from across the region.
As part of the programme, participants worked in multidisciplinary and international groups on the development of practical projects and policy proposals aimed at addressing key challenges. The topics included geopolitical risks, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, smart specialisation strategies and the energy transition.
As a final-year student, I can confidently say that international mobility programmes and educational initiatives of this kind are invaluable for every young person. They not only enrich our academic knowledge, but also broaden our perspectives, help us build professional networks and prepare us for the labour market.”

“My participation in the REDETE26 Summer School and Conference in Ancona was an exceptionally valuable experience that went beyond the traditional academic framework.
Through workshops and lectures delivered by international experts, we had the opportunity to engage with some of the key challenges of our time – from the application of artificial intelligence and digital transformation to geopolitical risks, the energy transition and smart specialisation strategies. A particular strength of the programme was the opportunity to work with colleagues and lecturers from different disciplines and countries across the Adriatic-Ionian region, which enabled us to approach complex issues from multiple perspectives rather than solely from an economic standpoint.
Alongside the academic activities and presentations, the stay in Italy was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, establish new contacts and expand our professional networks. Mobility programmes of this kind are particularly important because they foster critical thinking, broaden perspectives and provide practical preparation for entering the labour market and pursuing further professional development.”

“Participation in the Summer School in Ancona enabled me to acquire practical knowledge of how to identify and address regional challenges, as well as how to write policy briefs and formulate concrete solutions to identified problems. I applied the knowledge I gained to specific challenges in the Adriatic-Ionian region, linking it with the academic knowledge I had previously acquired.
I particularly valued the opportunity to work with other students, which allowed me to exchange different perspectives and experiences. Attending the REDETE Conference added further value to the programme, as I had the opportunity to hear presentations by experts on current economic issues of relevance to both the region and the wider international context.
The Summer School showed me how theoretical knowledge can be connected with real-world problems and how concrete solutions can be developed. I left Ancona not only with new knowledge and experience, but also with new contacts, different perspectives and additional motivation for my future work and professional development.”
– Teodora Kavić, Master’s student
“Participation in the REDETE26 Summer School and Conference in Ancona was a valuable academic and international experience for me, particularly because of the opportunity to exchange knowledge and perspectives with students and researchers from different countries.
The lectures focused on current issues and challenges facing the Adriatic-Ionian region, but I found the greatest value in the student presentations addressing policy proposals for solving concrete problems. I was particularly interested to see how different countries often face very similar challenges, even though these challenges may manifest themselves in different ways, and how creatively solutions can be developed depending on the local context.
Working with students from different academic disciplines and at different levels of study was also especially valuable, as the discussions clearly revealed differences in how we understand the same problem and how we approach its solution.
Another important part of the programme was the REDETE26 Conference, where I had the opportunity to hear a range of interesting research papers from different fields. I found it particularly useful to become familiar with different research approaches and with the ways in which current economic and social issues are examined across different academic environments.”
