On 9 June 2026, a meeting was held at the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, with Assist. Prof. Dr. Marina Alexandrovna Ponomareva, professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow, who is visiting the University of Banja Luka with a delegation as part of the “Days of Russia” event.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Marina Alexandrovna Ponomareva teaches in the field of management and entrepreneurship. In addition to her academic work, she has achieved notable results in the field of art as a soprano and soloist at the Elena Obraztsova Opera Studio, and as a laureate of international and national competitions.
The meeting was attended by Assist. Prof. Dr. Marina Alexandrovna Ponomareva, Prof. Dr. Tajana Serdar Raković, Academic Coordinator for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Bojan Baškot, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Svetlana Sabljić.
During the meeting, the participants discussed opportunities for developing cooperation between the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, and the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Special attention was given to the possibilities of student and staff exchange, as well as to the enhancement of scientific and professional cooperation between the two institutions.
The discussion also addressed the possibility of a visit by Russian students to the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, and their participation in the StES student conference, as well as the potential participation of colleagues from the Financial University in Moscow in the scientific conference of the Faculty of Economics. In addition, the participants discussed the possibility of preparing a joint monograph and joint scientific papers in areas of mutual academic interest.
The meeting was held in a cordial and constructive atmosphere, with a clear willingness to continue communication and further define specific forms of cooperation between the two institutions.
