Organization of Business Systems

The subject enables students to: become familiar with the fundamentals of the science of organization, the way of establishing and forming an organization, methods and ways of designing the organizational structure and restructuring of business systems, and their applications in solving problems in business in modern enterprises and complex conditions; master the techniques of transformation of business systems at all organizational levels and in different enterprises; learn the essence of designing the organizational structure and restructuring business systems; gain the basic knowledge of organizational behavior; master the way of organizing all functions in business systems, with a special emphasis on executive functions.

Learning Outcomes (gained knowledge): | Upon successful completion of the course, students will acquire basic knowledge about the theory, principles and practice of the organization, master the basic notions of organizational structures and their design, as well as the design of organization, they will be introduced to the theory and practice of organizational behavior as the basis of modern organization and management, they will learn basic elements of institutional framework of business systems with a special focus on large business systems, they will acquire the necessary knowledge about organizing and functioning of all functions in enterprises. |
Subject Contents: | Definition, importance and principles of the organization, understanding of the organization, characteristics of the organization, purposefulness of the organization, concept of the system, organizational structures, formal and non-formal organizations, elements and principles of the organization, types and characteristics of formal organizational structures, factors of the organizational structure, institutional forms of organizing enterprises in a market economy, organization of large business systems, profit decentralization of large business systems, methodology of organization design, organizational behavior, motivation, modern corporate system of awarding top managers, organization of work of assets and functions, models and forms of company restructuring. |
